MATERIAL

The manufacturer produces these collars since 2002 and has extensive experience in producing bespoke personalized collars. All collars are made of harmless tanned leather, glued with solvent-free adhesive and stitched with special thread. Only the highest quality fittings used the D-rings for greater stability closed and welded.
WHAT collar for which dog
Greyhound Collars ...
... not only fit greyhounds. They are also in many other breeds a real looker (and often serve as a wider bite block). But it is important that you first compare the width of the Greyhound Collar with the available space on the dog's neck. Generally, the collar should not be more than 2/3 of the neck length wide.
Leather collars with internal nylon strap ...
... are very stable with low weight and the ideal "all-rounder". In spite of their design, they are but two special cases not suitable:
- Dogs who like to swim. The leather used and the fittings hold the rain and down-to-humidity and good, but the collars are not suitable for permanent bathing inserts. For water lovers, use our nylon or neoprene collars.
- Dogs are very active leash. Is to say: Taking your dog on a leash like constant the collar it is well suited. But he pulls and jumps in high spirits or in anger constantly in the line, the buckles closure is not ideal. Write to us, there are solutions for our "Cap-athlete," special fasteners and finishes.
Rivets ...
... are wonderful applications. For technical reasons, however, they are firmly anchored through all layers of leather from us. This has the consequence that the light padding is compressed slightly in the collar at the position of the rivet. This is not ideal for extremely sensitive dogs. "Normal" dogs do not mind, but especially for delicate items: Also pure leather collars are beautiful, it does not always Zierrat be attached :-)
Jewelry belts and felt ...
... are from high-quality sources and harder thinking in business than you. Nevertheless, they are not suitable for dogs that scratch often times on the neck. Fabric is not leather. Please take a look in dogs that like to scratch by collars with leather (and without fabric or felt ...) - ideally even without rivets. By the way: Our felt collars are made with polyester felt as wool felt is indeed soft, but like attracts dog hair and really soaked long time needed for drying. Polyester felt is as much "cozy".
